This online interactive and NBAA-approved Professional Development Program (PDP) course covers the Operations 1 (OPS1) objective in entirety. The OPS1 objective has three sub-objectives. Each sub-objective has a video lesson, ebook, and bonus audio MP3 of the video lesson. The course includes quizzes, discussions, and a certificate of completion. Completion of this course requires approximately 2 hours. It need NOT be completed in one sitting. Topics covered in this course:
- a. Identify applicable topics and sources of information (e.g., Original Equipment Manufacture [OEM] handbooks, Aeronautical Information Manual, Safety Management System [SMS], company and regulatory requirements, Flight Operations Manual, Dispatch Manual)
- b. Compose and implement applicable SOPs with stakeholder support
- c. Review operational results for compliance with SOPs and identification of needed revisions
